Rocket Forces Vladimir Yakovlev, a "Topol-M" missile was launched from the
Plesetsk test site, in Arkhangelsk Oblast and successfully hitting its target on the
Kamchatka peninsula, Interfax reported. The news agency quoted military officials as
saying this was the ninth test of the ballistic missile.
